Peer Support Alliance (PSA) Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 30, 2026

By creating a Peer Support Alliance (PSA) account, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use PSA's services.

2. Purpose of PSA

Peer Support Alliance provides a peer-to-peer community where individuals can connect, share experiences, and encourage one another.

PSA is not a healthcare provider, crisis service, counseling service, or medical organization. Our volunteers and members are peers, not licensed mental health professionals, and should not be considered a substitute for professional care.

3. Emergencies

PSA is not intended for crisis intervention.

If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, immediately call 911, contact your local emergency services, or reach out to 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) before using PSA.

4. Community Expectations

PSA has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content and abusive behavior are not permitted anywhere on PSA. Anyone who posts objectionable content or behaves abusively will have that content removed and may have their account suspended or permanently removed.

By using PSA, you agree to:

5. Privacy

Please think carefully before sharing personal information.

Do not post information such as your home address, financial information, passwords, Social Security number, or other sensitive personal data.

While PSA works to maintain a safe community, we cannot guarantee that anything shared online will remain completely private.

6. Moderation

PSA reserves the right to monitor, review, remove, or moderate content to help maintain a respectful and supportive environment.

Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or permanently removed without prior notice.

7. User Responsibility

You understand that advice and opinions shared by other members reflect their personal experiences only.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information shared within PSA.

8. No Guarantee

While PSA strives to provide a welcoming and supportive community, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, complete accuracy of information, or specific outcomes from participation.
